More Carpet Removal

Greg removed the old carpet from hall bath and found small hexagon tiles underneath.

Looking much better after cleaning off the glue that was used to install the carpet.

Carpet removed from the upstairs hallway.  Yeah! All of the upstairs carpet has been removed.

Now, to tackle the removal of the carpet on the stairs

We can see where the stairs were stained on the sides, while a carpet runner went down the center.

The risers had been painted white.  Lots of staples for us to remove.

All staples now removed so we can safely use the stairs.

Why is Greg so happy????

I found hardwood floor in the foyer and hope it is in the dining and living room too.  We have a lot of sanding and refinishing in the future, but look at all of the money we will save because we don't have to install new hardwood floors.  A good day indeed.  Well, until the Colts lost.
