Burning the Midnight Oil

For those of you who are wondering, did we finish the final coat of stain Friday night?  Why, yes we did.  With 30 minutes to spare before the clock clicked to midnight.  Are we a little sore today, yes.  But the fact that we fit 2 days worth of work into one is priceless.

A few of the boards are still a bit sticky/damp, likely because of our lovely humid Indiana weather, and the possibility that we put a little too much stain on those boards.  They should soon dry so we can begin to apply the top coats.  Until then, time for laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning the basement.  There is always something to do, isn't there?
